21.06.2022 in Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg (Germany) held the next day of training for the Kazakh participants of the international project 618835-ERR-1-2020-1-KZ-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP Kazdual "Inplementing Dual System in Kazakhstan", co-financed by Erasmus + European Union.
The trainers from Tirol Higher Pedagogical School (Austria) acquainted the participants from M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, Karagandy University of the name of academician E.A. Buketov, Shakarim University, Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College, Electrotechnical College with motivational aspects of cooperation between enterprises/companies and universities/colleges, with factors, influencing on development of Dual Students Support Concept in Kazakhstan. The training emphasized that the development of the Support Concept is a joint task of the companies and the university. Having a documented Student Support Concept is a prerequisite for dual degree programs. According to Gesser (2018) the Support Concept describes several functions or actors.
In addition, an important element of dual education is a standing committee that will be responsible for information, communication and coordination between the university and the company. Organizational coordination is considered a prerequisite for the success of a dual education program. At the end of the module, group work was organized for the participants of the training to discuss the organizational infrastructure in the university/college and the partner company necessary to implement dual education programs. Presentations of the results of the group work included graphic images of the organizational infrastructure of the dual training for universities and colleges participating in the KazDual project, a description of the functions of all elements of the organizational infrastructure and forms of their interaction.
The second part of the training was devoted to the cooperation with the Chamber of Entrepreneurs (Chamber of Crafts), including the motivational aspects of cooperation between companies and universities/colleges, employment opportunities. Participants of the training discussed the main reasons for the influence of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs on the educational system.
