Today, for the participants of the Kazdual project, a Stady-tour was held to a vocational school in the field of metalworking, which is involved in the preparation of working specialties for the industrial sector, as well as teachers-masters of industrial training as part of dual training. The director of the school, Mr. Siller, the head of the education department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Tyrol, Mr. Huber, and the manager for the quality of education of the Department of Education of the Land of Tyrol, very thoroughly acquainted the participants with the educational process in the organization and answered numerous questions of interest to Kazakhstani participants.
June 29, In the afternoon, as part of the Stady-Tur, the project participants visited Austria's largest railway equipment repair facility (a division of the state-owned Östereichisches Bundesbahn ÖBB), which trains technical personnel for ÖBB directly on site. A Scientific Center has been established at the enterprise, which trains specialists for their own needs. Training lasts from 2 to 3 years, depending on the chosen program. The whole range of railway services, including the maintenance and repair of railway tracks, wagons, electronics, production processes, etc. The training of production workers takes place directly at the enterprise and the training goes to mechatronics and metalworking. The theory is immediately reinforced by practice, which is the advantage of dual training.
