CASCADE TRAINING IN EUROPE WITHIN THE KAZDUAL PROJECT. TRAINING OF TRAINERS AT OTTO von GUERICKE MAGDEBURG UNIVERSITY (GERMANY)

The working group of the Erasmus+ KazDual project - "Implementation of dual system in Kazakhstan" arrived for trainings in Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg (Germany) on June 13, 2022. Kazakh Team was represented by M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Karaganda Buketov University, Shakarim University, Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College and Electrotechnical College in Semey.

On the first day of trainings the Kazakhstani team of the project was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Frank Bünning, project coordinator from Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg (OVGU) and Dr. Yulia Nepomnyashaya, associate researcher of the Chair of professional education and HR development of the Institute of Humanities introduced the training program. Scientific advisor Hannes Tegelbeckers, the associate researcher of the Chair of Engineering Pedagogics and Technical Education told about the history of the university, presented the curriculum and introduced the features of the dual training model of the Faculty of Professional Education and HR Management in the OVGU.

Particular interest was aroused by the model of dual education for the full training of a specialist to train in vocational schools. Starting with 6 semesters of bachelor's degree and continuing with 4 semesters of master's degree at the university, including internships in vocational schools, graduates undergo a 16-month work experience, certified by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The participants were also introduced to the forms of the two-level attestation of a specialist - at the university and at the vocational schools (state examination).

Training participants had a hot discussion and proved the relevance of the dual system and the importance of international scientific collaboration for study and development of variative training programs for specialists.

The working day was continued with a campus tour, familiarization with the Labs at the faculties and the system of students' work in the university library.
